FANCOURT
GEORGE · GARDEN ROUTE
Gary Player's love letter to the great links of Ireland and Scotland, built on the southern tip of Africa.
Played only by hotel guests and members — never by day visitors.
On a still morning before anyone else has teed off, it is the round the journey is built around.

FANCOURT
The Links
Ranked No. 1 in South Africa by SA Top 100 Courses, The Links is Fancourt’s headline round — a Gary Player design modelled on the great links courses of the British Isles..
Host of the 2003 Presidents Cup — the only edition in the event's history to end in a tie. The round most serious golfers come to Fancourt for.

FANCOUNT
Montagu Golf Course
The original. Opened in 1992 and the first of Gary Player's three courses on the estate. Ranked among the country's top fifteen for more than two decades.
A parkland course of rolling fairways and water that comes into play on eleven holes, with the Outeniqua mountains as a constant backdrop.
The signature 18th — a long par five over water to a green set in front of the clubhouse — is one of the most photographed finishing holes in South Africa.

FANCOURT
Outeniqua Golf Course.
The most forgiving of Fancourt's three championship courses, and the one most guests play first. Gentle undulations, generous fairways, and greens that ask quiet questions rather than loud ones.
Named for the mountain range that frames it. Designed by Player to reward the player who thinks rather than the one who hits hardest. The morning round, the gentle introduction, the course that gets the week started properly.
