ZIMBALI COUNTRY CLUB
BALLITO · KWAZULU-NATAL
At Zimbali Country Club, the round unfolds through a
living coastal forest — fish eagles above, blue duiker in the shadows, and vervet monkeys watching from the canopy,
giving every hole a sense of wild, coastal South Africa.

ZIMBALI COUNTRY CLUB
Coastal Forest Golf
Tom Weiskopf's coastal forest course, tumbling through the dunes north of Durban with the Indian Ocean visible from the back nine. Ranked first in KwaZulu-Natal.
A hybrid of links and coastal parkland — open and exposed on the front nine, threading through indigenous forest on the way home. Holes fourteen through eighteen play with the ocean as backdrop. Fish eagles, blue duiker, and the occasional vervet monkey hunting for stray balls share the routing.
Played from the Zimbali Lodge or the Capital Hotel on the resort. A second course on the estate — Zimbali Lakes, designed by Ernie Els — opened in 2025.
